What TROLL is

TROLL is a Solana meme coin built on a specific piece of internet property: the Microsoft Paint face that Carlos Ramirez drew for a 2008 webcomic about 4chan and registered with the US Copyright Office in 2011. Decrypt reported on 3 September 2025 that Ramirez had granted Troll Network Limited an exclusive worldwide license to the character inside crypto, in a six-figure deal funded by ten large holders, with an 11% royalty to Ramirez on net revenue from TROLL merchandise. Decrypt put the peak of that run at a $283.8 million market cap, a rise of more than 1,647% from the months TROLL spent near $16 million after its April community takeover , with more than 44,000 holders by early September 2025. The largest wallets still hold about a quarter of the supply.

As of September 2026 the project points people to its site at trollface.io , a Telegram group at t.me/trollsolog , the @troll_ account on X, and Discord, Reddit, Instagram and TikTok accounts linked from the site. Anything else calling itself the TROLL chat is somebody’s copy.

None of them can tell a holder from a visitor. A Telegram group admits anyone with a phone number, so a wallet sitting on seven figures of TROLL and an impostor with a copied avatar appear in one member list. Discord’s answer is a verify bot: leave the server, sign a message on a third-party site, come back with a role. Cherry created it and runs it: this is Cherry’s holders room, not the project’s channel, and Cherry is not affiliated with the TROLL team. Entry is a single token balance rule against the mint above, minimum 1 TROLL. On 13 September 2026 the room was public, with 533 members and no reviews.

Every name in that member list passed an on-chain check the app ran itself. Nobody sends you a verify link, and members are re-checked in the background, so a wallet that sells out is paywalled: it stays a member with the content withheld until the balance is back. From the room a holder can DM any wallet address , including wallets that have never opened Cherry. Type $TROLL in the composer and the message renders a token card with price and market cap, with swaps powered by Jupiter. Size goes through OTC escrow in the Cherry mobile app, where a program settles both legs at once and refunds a timed-out deal. An airdrop campaign can check the same balance before it pays.

How to create a TROLL-gated room

  1. Open chat.cherry.fun and sign in with a Solana wallet. The wallet signs a message: no gas, nothing on-chain.
  2. Create a group with a name, description and handle, and set it public so it gets a storefront page.
  3. Add an access requirement of the token-balance type and paste the mint 5UUH9RTDiSpq6HKS6bp4NdU9PNJpXRXuiw6ShBTBhgH2. Confirm the symbol resolves to TROLL before you save.
  4. Set the minimum. 1 TROLL admits any holder; a higher number keeps the room to real positions. A group takes up to five rules under all (every rule passes) or any (one is enough).

TROLL is a meme coin whose value rests on attention and a licensed drawing, it trades more than 80% below its August 2025 high, and concentration at the top is high. A balance gate proves a wallet held the minimum when the check ran, and nothing about the person behind that wallet, so scam links and impersonation still need moderators who can mute and ban.
