TNSR community chat: holders verified by wallet

What TNSR is on Solana, where Tensor holders talk today, and how a Cherry room gated by the real TNSR mint checks every member on-chain.

TNSR community chat happens in places that cannot read a wallet: a Discord server and an X account. TNSR is the token of Tensor, the NFT marketplace on Solana, and it trades as an SPL token at mint TNSRxcUxoT9xBG3de7PiJyTDYu7kskLqcpddxnEJAS6, held by 22,205 wallets on 13 September 2026. Cherry (cherry.fun) is a wallet-to-wallet messenger and community app for crypto: you sign in with a wallet, DM any address, and join group chats that check the chain themselves. Cherry runs a TNSR holders room at chat.cherry.fun/@tnsr , gated by a TNSR balance. Cherry is not affiliated with the Tensor team.

What TNSR is

Tensor started in 2022 as an NFT marketplace on Solana and puts its share of Solana NFT trading at 60% to 70%. TNSR is the governance token of the Tensor Foundation, whose stated job is community-led control of the Tensor protocols behind that marketplace. Proposals and votes run through a DAO hosted on Realms.

As of 13 September 2026:

  • Chain and standard: Solana, SPL token under the SPL Token program, nine decimals.
  • Mint: TNSRxcUxoT9xBG3de7PiJyTDYu7kskLqcpddxnEJAS6. Freeze authority is disabled. Mint authority is still set, which matches the tokenomics: holders can vote an inflation rate if the community treasury runs dry.
  • Supply: 743,088,205 TNSR circulating, 783,790,874 minted so far, against a 1,000,000,000 cap. The split is 55% community, 27% core contributors, 9% investors and advisors, 9% reserve.
  • Market cap: about $25.8 million.
  • Holders: 22,205 wallets.

The token went live on 8 April 2024, when Tensor opened a 12.5%-of-supply airdrop claim to holders of its Treasure Boxes and Tensorians NFTs from the first three seasons. TNSR touched $2.23 that day and has never returned to it. The SPL token itself was deployed a month earlier, in March 2024, when contributor vesting began.

Where TNSR community chat happens today

Tensor points holders at its marketplace, the foundation site and docs, a Discord server, and the @tensorfdn account on X. As of September 2026 there is no official Telegram group.

Discord admits anyone with an email address. A trader sitting on six figures of TNSR and an impostor with a copied avatar sit in the same member list, and the usual repair is a verify bot: leave the server, sign a message on a third-party site, come back with a role. That loop is also the shape of a common Solana phishing attack: a fake verify link and a fake support DM.

Governance makes it sharper: a vote on Realms is settled by token balances, while the conversation before it happens where balances are invisible.

TNSR holders on Cherry

Cherry opened a TNSR Holders room at chat.cherry.fun/@tnsr on 12 September 2026. On 13 September 2026 it was public, with 148 members and no reviews. Cherry created it and runs it, so this is Cherry’s holders room, not the Tensor team’s channel. Entry is a single token balance rule against the mint above, minimum 1 TNSR.

Every name in that member list passed an on-chain check run by the app. Nobody sends a verify link, and members are re-checked in the background, so a wallet that sells out is paywalled: it stays a member with the content withheld until the balance is back. From the room a holder can DM any wallet address , including wallets that have never opened Cherry, which is how you reach the bidder behind a wallet that keeps sweeping your collection. Type $TNSR in the composer and the message renders a token card with price and market cap, swaps powered by Jupiter. Larger deals go through OTC escrow in the Cherry mobile app, where a program settles both legs at once and refunds a deal that times out, tokens and NFTs alike. An airdrop campaign can check the same balance before it pays.

For a marketplace token, the room is one of a set. Cherry’s NFT-gated chats admit holders of a Metaplex collection, and a separate rule covers Metaplex Core collections, so collections that trade on Tensor can each have a room beside the TNSR one. Verifying NFT holders covers that setup.

How to create a TNSR-gated room

  1. Open chat.cherry.fun and sign in with a Solana wallet. The wallet signs a message: no gas, nothing on-chain.
  2. Create a group with a name, description and handle, and set it public so it gets a storefront page.
  3. Add an access requirement of the token-balance type and paste the mint TNSRxcUxoT9xBG3de7PiJyTDYu7kskLqcpddxnEJAS6. Confirm the symbol resolves to TNSR before you save.
  4. Set the minimum. 1 TNSR admits any holder; a higher figure narrows the room to real positions. A group takes up to five rules under all (every rule passes) or any (one is enough).
  5. Share the room link. Visitors see the requirement, and whether their wallet passes it, before they join.

Creating a token-gated group chat walks through it, and reaching token holders covers the rest.

Risks and disclaimers

TNSR is a governance token with a cap that has not been fully minted, about 61% of supply sitting in the largest wallets, and a price far below its first day. A balance gate proves a wallet held the minimum when the check ran, and nothing about the person behind that wallet, so scam links and impersonation still need moderators who can mute and ban. Group chats on Cherry are not end-to-end encrypted, by design, so moderation and bots can work; DMs are end-to-end encrypted with keys derived from your wallet. Nothing here is financial advice. Tokens can lose value.

FAQ

Is the TNSR Holders room on Cherry run by the Tensor team?

No. Cherry created and runs the room at chat.cherry.fun/@tnsr, and Cherry is not affiliated with the Tensor team. It is a room for holders whose wallets pass the balance check, and it does not speak for the project.

How much TNSR do I need to join the Cherry room?

At least 1 TNSR in the wallet you sign in with. An owner running their own TNSR room can set any minimum, and a higher one narrows the room to larger positions.

What happens if I sell my TNSR?

The room paywalls you. Cherry re-checks holdings in the background, about every three days per wallet, and a wallet that drops below 1 TNSR stays a member with the room in its chat list and the message content withheld. Buy back above the minimum and a passing check or the Re-check button restores it.

Can a room check for an NFT I bought on Tensor instead of a TNSR balance?

Yes. An NFT ownership rule admits holders of a Metaplex collection, and a Metaplex Core rule covers Core collections, so a collection that trades on Tensor can have its own room next to the TNSR one.

Where does the TNSR community talk officially?

Tensor points people to its marketplace at tensor.trade, the Tensor Foundation site and docs, a Discord server and the @tensorfdn account on X. None of those read a wallet balance before somebody posts.
