# SPX6900 community: holders verified by wallet > What SPX6900 is on Ethereum, Base and Solana, where the SPX community talks today, and how a Cherry room gated by the real SPX mint checks members. The SPX6900 community is the crowd around SPX, a stock-market-themed memecoin that exists as four separate contracts: an ERC-20 on Ethereum and on Base, a bridged SPL token on Solana, and a version on Avalanche. A ticker in a group name proves nothing, and a chat cannot tell which chain a member is on, or whether a member holds at all. Cherry (cherry.fun) is a wallet-to-wallet messenger and community app for crypto: you sign in with a wallet, DM any address, and join group chats that read the chain themselves. Cherry is not affiliated with the SPX6900 team. ## What SPX6900 is SPX6900 began trading on Ethereum on 16 August 2023, the day its first SPX/WETH pool opened. The ticker borrows the S&P 500's symbol, and the site states the thesis in one line: SPX is "the meme coin out to flip the stock market", under the slogan "Stop trading, believe in something". No company is named there, and the fine print says the coin "has no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return", that there is no formal team or roadmap, and that SPX has "no affiliations with the S&P 500". As of 13 September 2026: - Market cap: about $455 million, ranking SPX around 114th in crypto. - Supply: 930,987,335 SPX circulating against a 1,000,000,000 maximum, eight decimals on Ethereum and Solana. - All-time high: $2.27 on 28 July 2025. - Ethereum, the original contract: `0xe0f63a424a4439cbe457d80e4f4b51ad25b2c56c`, source code verified. - Base: `0x50da645f148798f68ef2d7db7c1cb22a6819bb2c`. - Solana, bridged through Wormhole: `J3NKxxXZcnNiMjKw9hYb2K4LUxgwB6t1FtPtQVsv3KFr`, an SPL token named SPX6900 (Wormhole), whose first pool opened 10 June 2024. One number stands out. About 75,600 wallets held the Solana version on 13 September 2026, more than the Ethereum original, which counted 48,940 holding addresses in a snapshot dated 12 September 2026. The SPX sitting on Solana came to roughly 82.6 million tokens, about $40 million of the total. The bigger balances stayed on Ethereum. ## Where the SPX6900 community talks today SPX6900's public presence, as of September 2026, is its site at [spx6900.com](https://www.spx6900.com) plus the two accounts the site links to: the SPX6900 Portal channel on Telegram and the @spx6900 account on X. None of them can separate a holder from a visitor. Telegram admits anyone with a phone number, so a wallet holding a six-figure position and an impostor with a copied avatar sit in the same member list. The usual patch is a verify bot on Discord: leave the chat, sign a message on a third-party site, come back with a role. That loop is also the shape of the phishing attack it is meant to prevent. Four contracts make it worse here. Entry is one token balance rule against the Solana mint above, minimum 1 SPX. On 13 September 2026 the room was public, with 99 members and no reviews. Every name in that member list passed [an on-chain check](https://cherry.fun/learn/features/token-gated-chat/) run by the app. Nobody sends you a verify link, and members are re-checked in the background, so a wallet that sells out is paywalled: it stays a member with message content withheld until a later check passes. Type $SPX in the composer and the message renders a token card with price and market cap, with swaps powered by Jupiter. Open [chat.cherry.fun](https://chat.cherry.fun) and sign in with a wallet. The wallet signs a message: no gas, nothing on-chain. 2. Create a group with a name, description and handle, and set it public so it gets a storefront page. 3. Add an access requirement of the token-balance type. For Solana holders, paste the SPX6900 (Wormhole) mint `J3NKxxXZcnNiMjKw9hYb2K4LUxgwB6t1FtPtQVsv3KFr`; for ERC-20 holders, paste the Ethereum or Base contract above. Confirm the symbol resolves to SPX before you save. 4. Set the minimum. 1 SPX admits any holder; a higher minimum narrows the room to positions worth defending. The Solana supply is bridged, so a gate against the mint sees the Solana balance and nothing else: an Ethereum-only wallet belongs in a room keyed to the Ethereum contract. A balance gate proves a wallet held the minimum when the check ran, and nothing about the person behind that wallet, so scam links and impersonation still need moderators who can mute and ban. Group chats on Cherry are not end-to-end encrypted, by design, so moderation and bots can work; DMs are end-to-end encrypted with keys derived from your wallet. Nothing here is financial advice. Membership in a gated public group is re-checked on-chain in the background, about every three days per wallet.
