Render token community chat for verified holders
What RENDER is, where the Render token community talks today, and how a Cherry room checks a real RENDER balance on Solana before anyone gets in.
RENDER is the token of the Render Network, a marketplace where people who need 3D rendering and AI compute pay people with spare GPUs, and it trades on Solana as an SPL token at mint rndrizKT3MK1iimdxRdWabcF7Zg7AR5T4nud4EkHBof. Any render token community chat runs into the same problem: 125,297 wallets held that mint on 12 September 2026, and a member list in Telegram or Discord tells you nothing about which of them is in the room. Cherry (cherry.fun) is a wallet-to-wallet messenger and community app for crypto: you sign in with a wallet, DM any address, and join group chats that read the chain themselves. Cherry runs a RENDER holders room at chat.cherry.fun/@render
, gated by a RENDER balance. Cherry is not affiliated with the RENDER team.
What RENDER is
Render Network is a compute marketplace between GPU providers and GPU requestors: artists and developers send rendering and machine-learning work to node operators who are paid in RENDER. Jules Urbach, founder and chief executive of OTOY, conceived the network in 2009, and it launched publicly on 27 April 2020. The Render Network Foundation, a not-for-profit, maintains the protocol.
The token moved chains. RENDER began as an ERC-20 on Ethereum under the ticker RNDR, and after the community vote recorded as RNP-002 the network expanded to Solana, where RENDER went live as an SPL token on 2 November 2023. CoinGecko files it under artificial intelligence and DePIN.
As of 12 September 2026:
- Chain and standard: Solana, SPL token under the SPL Token program, eight decimals.
- Mint:
rndrizKT3MK1iimdxRdWabcF7Zg7AR5T4nud4EkHBof, the address Render publishes in its own knowledge base. - Supply: 518.8 million RENDER circulating against a 644.2 million maximum.
- Market cap: about $722 million.
- Holders: 125,297 wallets hold the Solana mint.
Where RENDER token community chat happens today
Render’s own channels are a Telegram group, “Render Network | RENDER - Official Chat”, a Discord server at discord.gg/rendernetwork , the account @rendernetwork on X, a Reddit community and a Medium blog. On 12 September 2026 the Telegram group listed 19,951 members and the Discord about 6,451. Both work for announcements.
Neither proves anything about holdings. Telegram admits anyone with a phone number, so a wallet sitting on 50,000 RENDER and an impostor with a copied avatar look identical in the member list. Discord’s usual answer is a verify bot: you leave the server, sign a message on a third-party site, come back with a role, and repeat the loop whenever the bot loses state. That sequence is also the shape of the most common Solana phishing attempt.
RENDER also lives on two chains, and a gating rule has to name one of them.
RENDER holders on Cherry
Cherry’s RENDER room is a public group whose membership is a balance check. Sign in with the wallet that holds your RENDER, press join, and Cherry reads your balance of that mint. Sell below the minimum and access lapses until the balance comes back.
The room opened on 11 September 2026. It is public, titled “RENDER Holders”, gated by “Hold at least 1 $RENDER”, and on 12 September 2026 it had one member and no reviews. Cherry created and runs it; it is a holders room, not a Render Network channel.
Four things work differently from a Telegram group:
- Every member passed a token-gated chat
balance rule against mint
rndrizKT3MK1iimdxRdWabcF7Zg7AR5T4nud4EkHBof, and keeps passing it in the background. - You can DM a wallet address you met in the room. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted with keys derived from your wallet signature; the group chat itself is not encrypted, by design, so moderation and bots can work.
- Size deals settle through OTC escrow in the Cherry mobile app: both sides fund an on-chain escrow that settles atomically, and a timed-out deal refunds both senders.
- A team can point airdrops and quest-style eligibility at a verified holder list.
Typing $RENDER in any Cherry chat renders a token card with price and market cap, and pressing Buy opens a swap routed by Jupiter: that is trading in chat
. On iOS, Buy and Swap are outbound links, and Cherry never holds your funds.
Which contract a gating rule reads
Two RENDER contracts are live: the Solana mint above, and the Ethereum contract 0x6de037ef9ad2725eb40118bb1702ebb27e4aeb24 that carried the original RNDR token. A Solana balance rule reads the Solana mint and only that, so a wallet whose RENDER never left Ethereum fails the check, correctly for a Solana room. Gate on the Ethereum contract and you are building an Ethereum token-gated chat
, or one room with multichain gating
across both. Copy the mint from Render’s knowledge base or CoinGecko: a wrong address gates a different token.
How to create a RENDER-gated room
Running your own RENDER holder group takes about a minute in the web app; the guide to token-gated group chats covers the rest.
- Open chat.cherry.fun , connect a wallet, and sign the sign-in message. Nothing goes on-chain and there is no gas.
- Press “Create group”, name it, and keep “Group visibility” on Public.
- Open “Access requirements”, switch on “Token-gated”, and paste
rndrizKT3MK1iimdxRdWabcF7Zg7AR5T4nud4EkHBofinto “Token mint address”. - Set “Minimum amount” in RENDER units: 1 for an open holders room, higher for a node-operator or whale room. A group takes up to five rules; under “To join, members need”, pick “All of these” or “Any one”.
- Save, then claim a handle in the group settings. The public page it gives you shows the requirement and is where holders land.
Risks and disclaimers
This page describes a token and a chat room without endorsing either. A gating rule proves a balance at the moment it is read and nothing about the person behind the wallet, so treat trades, links and offers in any room with the suspicion you would use anywhere else. Nothing here is financial advice. Tokens can lose value.
FAQ
Is the RENDER room on Cherry run by the Render Network team?
No. Cherry created and runs the room at chat.cherry.fun/@render and is not affiliated with Render Network or the Render Network Foundation. It is a holders room, not an official Render channel.
Which RENDER contract should a Solana gating rule use?
The Solana mint rndrizKT3MK1iimdxRdWabcF7Zg7AR5T4nud4EkHBof, which Render publishes in its own knowledge base. The Ethereum contract 0x6de037ef9ad2725eb40118bb1702ebb27e4aeb24 is the legacy RNDR token and a Solana balance rule cannot see it.
How much RENDER do I need to join the Cherry room?
At least 1 RENDER in the wallet you sign in with. Cherry reads that mint’s balance when you ask to join and keeps reading it in the background afterwards.
Does Render Network have an official Telegram or Discord?
Both. The Telegram group Render Network | RENDER - Official Chat had 19,951 members on 12 September 2026 and the Discord server at discord.gg/rendernetwork had about 6,451. Neither one checks what your wallet holds before you post.
