# PONKE Telegram, X and the holders room on Cherry > The official PONKE Telegram, X and site, what the token is on Solana and Base, and a PONKE Holders room gated by the real mint on Cherry. Ponke (PONKE) is a Solana memecoin built around a cartoon monkey with millions of views on TikTok and YouTube, and the PONKE Telegram is the first thing a new holder looks for, along with the copies that share its name. This page lists the official channels, covers the token on each of its two chains, and shows how a room gated by the real PONKE mint works on Cherry (cherry.fun), a wallet-to-wallet messenger for crypto where you sign in with a wallet, DM any address, and join token-gated group chats. ## What PONKE is PONKE is an SPL token on Solana at mint `5z3EqYQo9HiCEs3R84RCDMu2n7anpDMxRhdK8PSWmrRC`, with nine decimals and 555,535,211 tokens in circulation against a maximum of 555,555,555. The project calls itself fairly launched and fully circulating, so no vesting schedule sits behind the float. The character is the product. Ponke is the degenerate gambler monkey who took over social media, in the project's own words, and its line is "I am Ponke, You are Ponke, We are Ponke!". Trading opened in December 2023. The token bottomed at $0.009280 on 3 January 2024 and reached an all-time high of $0.8365 on 18 November 2024. CoinGecko files it under meme, Solana meme and Base meme. PONKE runs on two chains. The site calls Solana the original chain and Base the expansion chain; the Base contract is an ERC-20 at `0x4a0c64af541439898448659AEdcEC8E8e819FC53` with eighteen decimals, holding about 3.1 million PONKE across 7,861 addresses on 13 September 2026. On the same day the token's market cap was about $11.9 million, 1,112th by CoinGecko's ranking, spread across 69,729 Solana wallets. The token is not the whole business. Decrypt reported on 19 May 2025 that PONKE had partnered with 223, a spinout of the merchandise maker JCorp, on collectibles and apparel; the project sells shirts at shop.ponke.xyz. ## The PONKE Telegram and other official channels The site links one Telegram group, ponkehq, and one X account, ponkehq; Instagram, TikTok and YouTube carry the same handle. No Discord server is listed on ponke.xyz or on CoinGecko. The project also runs Club Ponke, which it describes as a token-gated Telegram channel for verified holders. That last one is where the mechanics get thin. Telegram cannot read a wallet balance, so gating a channel there means an outside verify bot and a link you sign on someone else's site, the same flow scammers imitate with a stolen avatar and a copied group name. In an open group nobody can tell a holder from a wallet that sold in 2024, because the proof on offer is a screenshot. Entry is one token balance rule against the Solana mint above, minimum 1 PONKE. It is public, and on 13 September 2026 it had 104 members and no reviews. Cherry reads the chain itself when you join, so nobody DMs you a verification link to sign on a third-party site. Create a group with a name, description and handle, and keep it public so it gets a storefront page. 3. Add an access requirement of the token balance type and paste the mint `5z3EqYQo9HiCEs3R84RCDMu2n7anpDMxRhdK8PSWmrRC`. Read it off ponke.xyz or an explorer and confirm the symbol resolves to Ponke before you save. 4. Set the minimum. 1 PONKE admits any holder; 1,000,000 PONKE builds a room of larger positions. A balance rule proves a wallet held the minimum when the chain was read, not that its owner argues in good faith, so a room still needs mods. Group chats on Cherry are not end-to-end encrypted, by design, so moderation and bots can work; DMs are end-to-end encrypted with keys derived from your wallet.
