Supply is capped at one billion, about 999.94 million of it circulating, and the mint and freeze authorities are both switched off, so no new tokens can be printed and no holder’s balance can be frozen. 117,125 wallets held CHILLGUY on 13 September 2026. There is no staking, no revenue share and no product behind the ticker. chillguy.io describes a calm, lowkey character, runs a meme generator, states that the token has zero taxes, and publishes an EU crypto-asset whitepaper at chillguy.io/mica . Both handles carry the “cto” tag that a community takeover leaves behind, so directory entries and old threads can still point at accounts that no longer run anything.
That is the navigational trap for a meme this old. The picture is free to copy, the ticker is free to copy, and an open Telegram group cannot tell a holder from someone who arrived to sell a link. The usual patch is a verify bot that sends you to a third-party site to sign something, which is the exact shape of the scam it claims to stop.
