Polymarket on Solana: trade it from a Cherry chat
How to buy a Polymarket position with USDC from your own Solana wallet inside Cherry: open the mini app, pick a side, sign, then track, close or claim.
This guide gets you one result: a Polymarket position, bought with USDC from your own Solana wallet, inside a Cherry chat. It is for Solana traders who search for Polymarket on Solana and want the exact taps, from opening the mini app to claiming a win. Cherry (cherry.fun) is a wallet-to-wallet messenger and community app for crypto, and its Polymarket mini app runs Polymarket events inside Cherry, with every trade signed in your own Solana wallet.
Polymarket on Solana: three routes
A Solana wallet can reach Polymarket’s markets in more than one way, and they are separate products.
| Route | What you do | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Polymarket’s own site | Deposit into your Polymarket account and trade there; Solana is one of the deposit networks | Polymarket help center, 8 June 2026 |
| Jupiter | Trade Polymarket contracts in the Prediction section of the Jupiter app | The Block, 1 February 2026 |
| Cherry | Trade Polymarket events in a mini app inside a Cherry chat, signing in your own wallet | This guide |
Polymarket’s “How to Deposit” article (updated 8 June 2026) has you choose a token and a network, notes that your address on Solana may differ from your Polygon or EVM address, and gives $3 as the example minimum for Solana. The Block reported on 1 February 2026 that Jupiter was integrating Polymarket, so Jupiter users could trade its contracts without leaving the Jupiter app. Phantom’s own chats are a different product: as of October 2026, its help center describes live chats on token, perp and prediction market pages in the Phantom mobile app (not the browser extension), where you can buy or sell prediction market contracts from the chat. Those chats are one per market and run by Phantom. On the Cherry route, Phantom is the wallet you sign with, and the conversation happens in a Cherry room.
The rest of this page covers the Cherry route only. For the wider picture, read prediction markets on Solana or the prediction market glossary entry .
Before you start
You need three things, and one decision about where you live.
- A Solana wallet holding USDC. Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and the Seed Vault Wallet on the Seeker all work for signing in to Cherry. The trade amount is entered in USDC.
- A Cherry sign-in at chat.cherry.fun (the steps below follow the web app). Signing in with a wallet is a message signature: nothing goes on-chain, and it needs no phone number, email or KYC.
- The Terms line. Below every trade ticket sits a line linking to Polymarket’s Terms of Use. As of October 2026, tapping it shows the full text: “By trading, you agree to the Terms of Use, including that you are not (i) a U.S. person and (ii) located in the United States, France or other restricted territory.” Rules differ by country and by US state. Read the line before your first trade, and do not trade if it does not describe you.
A position can lose the full amount you put in. Size it as money you can lose.
Step 1: Open the Polymarket mini app
Go to chat.cherry.fun/@predict , the room titled Polymarket, and tap “Launch App”. Sign in with your wallet if Cherry asks. In October 2026 the room had 1,485 members and a 4.8-star rating from 4 reviews.
You know it worked when the mini app’s home screen loads with a “Trending” tab, a row of category tabs and a “Search events” field.
Step 2: Find an event
Stay on “Trending”, switch to a category (Crypto, Politics, Sports, Economics, Culture, Tech, Esports, Finance), or type into “Search events”. In October 2026 the app’s event lists showed Polymarket events only, across sports, politics, economics, culture, crypto and esports.
You know it worked when you see event cards, each with the current YES probability.
Step 3: Open the event and read the rules
Tap an event. The event page shows the selected outcome’s YES probability and a “RULES” section, which says how the market resolves. Events with several outcomes list them under “OUTCOMES”; tap the one you want to trade. Markets that have ended sit under “SETTLED” and cannot be traded.
You know it worked when the trade ticket below shows your chosen outcome, with YES and NO buttons and a percentage next to each.
Step 4: Choose a side and an amount
Tap YES or NO. Type a dollar amount into the field labelled “Amount in USDC”, or tap a preset from $5 to $100. Tap the summary line below the presets to open the receipt, which lists:
| Row | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| “Price per share” | What one share costs on the side you picked |
| “Est. shares” | About how many shares your amount buys |
| “Max payout” | What the shares pay if your side wins |
| “Side” | YES or NO, with its probability |
You know it worked when the button reads “Buy YES · $10.00” or “Buy NO · $10.00”, with your own amount in place of 10.
Step 5: Confirm and approve in your wallet
Tap the buy button. It steps through “Preparing order…”, then “Confirm in your wallet…” while your wallet shows the transaction, then “Submitting to Solana…”. Approve the transaction in your wallet. The USDC comes from the Solana wallet that approves it.
You know it worked when the ticket says your order was submitted and settles in about a minute, and then shows “Trade confirmed”. You can close the ticket while it settles.
Step 6: Track, close or claim the position
Tap the P&L readout at the top of the home screen to open “My positions”. It has three tabs: “Open”, “Settled” and “History”.
- Your new position sits on the Open tab, under “Open P&L”, with your cost, its current value and the time until the market closes.
- To exit before the market resolves, tap “Close” on the row and approve the sale in your wallet. A “Close sent” notice confirms it.
- After the market resolves, the position moves to the Settled tab, under “Realized P&L”. A winning position shows a “Claim” button with the amount. Tap it, approve in your wallet, and wait for “Claim sent”.
You know it worked when the claimed row carries a check mark and the word “claimed”.
If the event page shows a “Share” button, it posts the event into a Cherry chat as a card, which is the quick way to ask your group what they think. Members of the Polymarket room can talk through a market in its chat too. Group chats on Cherry are not end-to-end encrypted, so treat anything you post there as readable by the room.
Troubleshooting
Most failures show up on the trade ticket itself, and the button changes to “Retry YES · $…” or “Retry NO · $…” so you can fix the amount and try again.
- The market is not open. A market that has closed or resolved cannot take new orders, and the app says so on the ticket or the shared card. Go back and pick another event, or another outcome under “OUTCOMES” if the event lists several.
- “Wallet signing failed” or a rejection message from your wallet. The transaction was not approved, so nothing was bought. Check that the wallet holds enough USDC, then tap the retry button.
- A connect button instead of a buy button. Inside Cherry the button reads “Connect Cherry wallet” and connects the wallet you use in Cherry. If you opened the app in a plain browser, it reads “Connect wallet to trade” and offers a wallet picker.
- The position is not on the Open tab. If the market has already closed, the position is on the Settled tab. The History tab lists your wallet’s past trades in the app.

FAQ
Can I use Polymarket with Phantom on Solana?
Yes, through Cherry. Sign in to Cherry with Phantom and open the Polymarket mini app. Each buy, close and claim is a Solana transaction that you approve in your own wallet, and the USDC for the trade comes from the wallet that signs it.
Is it the real Polymarket market?
The events in the mini app are Polymarket events, the room’s description ends “Powered by Polymarket”, and the Terms of Use link on the trade sheet goes to polymarket.com/tos. The mini app itself is Cherry’s way to reach those markets from a chat; nothing here says Polymarket built or endorses it.
Can US users trade?
The trade sheet’s Terms line, as of October 2026, says that by trading you agree you are not a U.S. person and not located in the United States, France or another restricted territory, and Polymarket’s help center lists both countries as restricted as of August 2026. Rules differ by country and by US state, so check the ones that apply to you.
What does it cost?
The trade sheet shows the price per share, the estimated shares and the maximum payout for your amount, and it does not itemise a separate fee. Read those rows and your wallet’s approval screen before you sign, because the approval is the last point where you can stop the trade.
How do I claim a winning position?
Open My positions from the P&L readout at the top of the mini app and go to the Settled tab. A winning position shows a Claim button with the amount; tap it and approve the transaction in your wallet. The row then carries a check mark and the word claimed.
