How to find new Solana tokens and check them first

How to find new Solana tokens and meme coins on public launch boards and inside Cherry chats, then check each mint on its token card before you buy.

How to find new Solana tokens comes down to two jobs: spotting a launch early, then checking that the mint in front of you is the one you think it is. This guide covers the public launch boards first, then the places inside Cherry, the wallet-to-wallet messenger and community app for crypto (web app at chat.cherry.fun, iOS and Android apps, and a listing on the Solana dApp Store for Seeker), where finding a token and checking it happen in the same room. Every step ends with a check you can run before you trade.

Before you start

You need a Solana wallet such as Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or the Seed Vault Wallet on Seeker. For the steps inside Cherry, sign in at chat.cherry.fun with that wallet: it signs a message, nothing goes on-chain, and there is no phone number, email or KYC. The steps use the Cherry web app, where the token card shows its full stats grid.

Work from the mint address, the token’s contract address , and never from the ticker. Anyone can launch a token under an existing ticker; each mint belongs to one token only.

Step 1: Find new Solana tokens on the public boards

Each public board shows different numbers, as of October 2026:

BoardWhereWhat a row shows
pump.fun home pagepump.funCoins launched on pump.fun with price, market cap and percentage change; some flagged HOT
DEX Screener New Pairsdexscreener.com/new-pairs/solanaRecently created pairs with pair age, price, transactions, volume, liquidity and market cap
Birdeye Find gemsbirdeye.so/solana/find-gemsMC, Liquidity, 24h Vol, Holders and a Top 10 column for the share the ten largest wallets hold
Jupiter token pagejup.ag/tokens/ followed by the mintMC, FDV, Liquidity, Holders and Jupiter’s Org Score

Open the token and copy its mint. A listing is no endorsement. You know it worked when you have a 32 to 44 character mint address copied.

Step 2: Type $ with nothing after it

In any Cherry room, type $ in the composer and stop. The dropdown lists Jupiter’s top-traded tokens for the last 24 hours, up to eight rows, each with its price, 24-hour change and Jupiter’s verified check where Jupiter gives one. Type letters after the $ to search by symbol, name or mint. The list shows where volume sits today, which is often not what launched today.

Pick a token, or paste the mint from step 1, and send. A pick attaches that token’s mint to your message, so every reader gets the card for the same mint. You know it worked when the message renders as a token card.

Step 3: Read the callouts and Alpha Wire

Cherry’s callouts post pump.fun movers into rooms Cherry picks for them. Each callout carries the coin’s mint, so it lands as a card you can check on the spot.

Alpha Wire is a public channel at chat.cherry.fun/@alpha where traders, founders and KOLs post token calls and market takes. It had 2,499 members, 5,770 messages and 5 stars from 7 reviews in October 2026.

A call is someone else’s position. Treat it as the start of your check. You know it worked when the mint from the call, pasted into a chat, renders as a card you can read.

Step 4: Check a room’s best recent calls

In rooms where the owner turned on Cherry’s call bot , a digest headed “Best recent calls:” ranks tokens by peak multiplier since the call and credits whoever named each token first. Re-posting a ticker later never moves the credit. A peak multiplier is the highest price the token reached after the call divided by its price at the call, so read it as a record of the caller, never as anyone’s profit.

The digest is plain text without cards. You know it worked when you can match a ticker in it to the original call and its card further up the room.

Step 5: Browse the Trading Terminal boards

The Trading Terminal is a Cherry-run mini app at chat.cherry.fun/@trade, and its home screen carries boards labelled “Trending”, “Top traded” and “Quality”, plus a feed headed “Just launched”, as of October 2026. Trending and Top traded follow Jupiter’s 24-hour lists, Quality ranks tokens by Jupiter’s organic score, and Just launched shows the newest tokens, with an “all →” link to the full list.

The full Just launched list shows what a fresh launch looks like. One look at the full list in October 2026 found 500 tokens created within about 21 minutes. None carried Jupiter’s verified check, half had three holders or fewer, and 69 tickers were each shared by two or more of those mints.

You know it worked when a mint copied from a board renders as a card in a chat.

Step 6: Read the token card before anything else

A card appears when you pick a token from the $ dropdown or paste a contract address Jupiter recognises. A ticker typed by hand, without a pick, is matched by symbol, so any card it gets may belong to a different mint from the one you meant.

What the web card checks:

  • The mint. A same-ticker impostor gets a different card, with its own name, price and market cap.
  • Price and 24-hour change for that mint.
  • MC next to FDV. A wide gap means much of the supply is not in circulation yet.
  • Liq and 24h Vol. Thin liquidity means a small order moves the price.
  • The button. It reads BUY, or NOT TRADABLE when Jupiter’s token data marks the token as not tradable (the tooltip reads “Not tradable on Jupiter”).
  • Two marks next to the symbol, both Jupiter’s ratings: Jupiter’s verified check (tooltip “Jupiter Verified”) and Jupiter’s organic-activity shield, which appears when Jupiter rates the token’s organic activity high. Neither is a Cherry safety check.

The mobile app’s card shows price and market cap. On iOS, Swap and Buy are outbound links to Jupiter and MoonPay. Every swap is signed in your own wallet; with an external wallet such as Phantom or Solflare, Cherry never holds the funds. The swap flow is on the trading in chat page.

Step 7: Check what the card does not show

The card says nothing about who holds the token. Three checks do:

  1. Holder concentration. Read the holder list on an explorer, or Birdeye’s Top 10 column, and separate pools and exchange wallets from people, as the guide on checking token holders shows.
  2. A holders room. Search the Cherry Marketplace at chat.cherry.fun/market for a room gated by the token.
  3. The top holders. Paste a top wallet into Cherry and write to it. A free first message lands silently in the owner’s Requests, or you pay to deliver it with a notification; see messaging a wallet address .

You know it worked when you know what share the largest non-pool wallets hold and whether any of them answers.

Troubleshooting

A ticker shows two tokens in the dropdown. Two mints share the symbol. Compare the name, the verified check and the price, then match the mint against the project’s own site or the board you started on.

The card says NOT TRADABLE. Jupiter’s token data marks this token as not tradable, so Cherry disables the button and hides the chart button. The stats still describe the mint. The flag is Jupiter’s, not a Cherry check, so read it as a warning and keep checking.

A call link opens a different mint. A jup.ag/tokens/ link carries its own mint, and the card follows that mint whatever ticker the text says. If the card’s name or market cap does not match the call, trust the card.

A pasted address shows no card. Jupiter did not recognise it. It may be a wallet address, or a mint Jupiter has not indexed yet.

Limits

Everything here is Solana. Both marks on the card are Jupiter’s ratings. A card is a snapshot of one mint’s market numbers; it cannot tell you who launched the token or what the team holds. Fresh launches in the trenches attract fake claims too, so read how to spot a fake airdrop before you sign anything a new token’s channel links to.

Open a room at chat.cherry.fun and type $ to start.

Nothing here is financial advice. Tokens can lose value.

FAQ

How do I find new Solana tokens? Start on the public launch boards: pump.fun’s home page, DEX Screener’s New Pairs page filtered to Solana, Birdeye’s Find gems list and Jupiter’s token pages. Inside Cherry, the Trading Terminal mini app has a Just launched list, and typing $ on its own in a chat lists Jupiter’s top-traded tokens of the last 24 hours. Copy the mint address, not the ticker, before you check anything.

How do I find meme coins early? The earliest listings are the newest coins on pump.fun and DEX Screener’s New Pairs page, and inside Cherry the Trading Terminal’s Just launched list, Cherry’s callouts of pump.fun movers and channels of calls such as Alpha Wire. Early also means unproven: in one October 2026 reading of the full Just launched list, none of its 500 tokens carried Jupiter’s verified check, and half had three holders or fewer.

How do I check a new token before buying? Paste its contract address into a Cherry chat or pick it from the $ dropdown, then read the card: the name and price for that exact mint, MC against FDV, liquidity and 24-hour volume on the web card, and whether the button reads NOT TRADABLE. Then check what the card does not show: how concentrated the holders are and who the top wallets belong to.

What does NOT TRADABLE mean on a token card? It means Jupiter’s token data marks that token as not tradable, so the button is disabled and the chart button is hidden. The card still shows the mint’s name and stats. The flag comes from Jupiter, not from Cherry, so treat it as a warning and check the holders before anything else.
