Airdrop tool for Solana token and NFT holders

How Cherry airdrop campaigns work on Solana: first-N or time-window claims, one claim per wallet, eligibility by token, NFT, whitelist or custom check.

Cherry’s airdrop campaigns pay SOL or an SPL token to wallets that pass an on-chain check, one claim per wallet, inside the chat where those holders already talk. Cherry (cherry.fun) is a wallet-to-wallet messenger and community app for crypto: you sign in with a wallet, DM any address, and join token-gated, NFT-gated, and paid group chats, with no phone number, email, or KYC. This page is for token teams, NFT collections, and DAOs looking for an airdrop tool Solana projects can point at their own holders rather than at a spreadsheet of addresses. Cherry is not a multisender: nothing here reaches a wallet that did not claim.

What the Cherry airdrop tool does on Solana

As of 10 September 2026, a campaign is a funded treasury plus a rule set: who may claim, how much each claim pays, how many claims exist, and when it opens and closes.

  • Payout in SOL or any SPL token, a fixed amount per claim, from a treasury the team funds. Total and remaining budget are tracked per campaign.
  • Cap by count or by time. Every campaign has a start time, an end time, and a maximum number of claimants. A first-come drop sets a small cap; a time-window drop sets a wide cap and a short window. Whichever runs out first closes the campaign, and the budget running out closes it too.
  • One claim per wallet. A claim belongs to the wallet you signed in with, and the payout goes to that same wallet.
  • Eligibility runs at claim time, never from a stale snapshot: token balance, NFT holder, whitelist, domain ownership, messages sent in a Cherry room, wallet age, or a custom check your own server answers. A campaign requires all checks to pass or any one of them.
  • Your slot is reserved the moment you claim, before the wallet opens, so a rejected signature or a closed app does not lose it.
  • Payout is a relay. The claimant signs and pays the network fee; Cherry co-signs from the treasury and sends the transaction. Cherry never holds the claimant’s funds.
  • The campaign lives inside a chat: a card in the message stream and a pinned banner at the top of the room with the reward, a countdown, and a Claim button.
  • Pause is a kill switch. A paused campaign stops accepting claims at once; an ended campaign is final.

How it works

The path from a team’s rule set to a confirmed transfer has six steps, and the team or the member sees each one.

  1. Fund a treasury. A treasury is a Solana wallet registered in Cherry’s campaign admin, and Cherry co-signs payouts from it. The team sends it the SOL or SPL budget.
  2. Define the campaign. Asset and mint, amount per claim, total budget, start and end, maximum claimants, the list of eligibility checks, the policy (all or any), and auto-withdraw: a minimum SOL balance below which a claim waits for a manual withdraw. A title, description, icon, and the room and message the campaign attaches to are optional. A campaign starts as a draft and goes live when the team flips it.
  3. A member opens the room. The pinned banner shows the title, “Reward:” with the amount, the countdown, and “Check Eligibility”, which lists every rule with its result. After buying the token or minting the NFT, “Re-check eligibility” runs the rules again.
  4. The member taps Claim. The cap is exact, so “first 500” means exactly 500 wallets. The checks run, and a pass takes a slot and reduces the remaining budget at the same moment. Tapping twice never creates a second claim.
  5. Sign. If the wallet holds at least the campaign’s minimum SOL for fees, the wallet opens with the payout transaction and the modal reads “Please sign the transaction in your wallet…”. If it does not, the claim is kept, the button becomes Withdraw, and the message reads “Top up your wallet with SOL to withdraw, or use manual withdraw later.”
  6. Confirm. Cherry checks that you signed exactly the transaction it prepared, adds the treasury signature, and sends it to Solana. Once it confirms, the claim shows as paid, with an explorer link. An unsigned transaction expires in about 60 to 90 seconds; a tap after that brings a fresh one for the same claim.

Wallet ageThe wallet’s first transaction is at least N days oldMinimum age in days
Custom checkYour own server answers pass or failThe check on your server

The custom check covers anything the chain cannot answer: a completed task in your app, a Discord role, a signed-up email, a score in your game. Cherry asks your server about the claiming wallet, and your server answers pass or fail. Under the all policy every check must pass; under the any policy one is enough. A member who fails sees which rule stopped the claim, so the fix (buy the token, mint the NFT, finish the task) is obvious before they tap Re-check eligibility.

What is different from a multisender

A multisender starts from a snapshot. You export a list of holders on a date, load it into the tool, pay every transaction fee, and push tokens out. The list includes wallets that sold the day after the snapshot, exchange deposit addresses, and wallets nobody opens any more.

A Cherry campaign starts from a room. Eligibility is evaluated when the wallet claims, so a holder who sold since your announcement fails the balance check, and a wallet that never opened your room never claims. The claimant pays the fee, so the whole budget is reward. Every recipient is a wallet that signed in, passed the rules, and signed a transaction.

Who uses it and for what

A token team rewarding real holders. The team creates a token-gated room for its mint, then runs a campaign with a token balance check on the same mint and, say, a cap of the first 1,000 claimants. Members who bought after the announcement pass; members who sold do not. Because the room is gated by the same check, its members already pass it.

An NFT collection paying out to holders. An NFT-gated room plus a campaign with an NFT holder check on the collection address and a minimum count of one. The payout can be the collection’s own SPL token or SOL. A two-week window with a wide cap lets slow holders in without letting non-holders in.

A Seeker launch. Solana Seeker owners on Cherry are gated by a .skr domain, which is soulbound and verified once, so a domain check on .skr gives a campaign an audience of verified device owners. Cherry hosts the largest Seeker owners community: Seeker Club had 8,637 members, 58,193 messages, and 4.9 stars from 41 reviews on 11 September 2026. 10K+ Seeker owners use Cherry as of September 2026. Cherry also runs targeted campaigns across its own communities, including verified Seeker audiences, with in-app promotion and launch support. As of September 2026, Cherry ranks #1 on the Seeker dApp Store, with 4.8 stars from 4,000+ reviews, about 3K daily active users, and about 31% D30 retention. The Seeker Club guide covers how the room itself works.

A name service or domain community. The same domain check works for .sol: SNS Club, gated by a .sol domain, has 1,455 members as of 11 September 2026. A campaign there with a .sol check and a wallet age check of 30 days reaches named wallets with history.

On quests: Solana Mobile’s Seeker Season is an engagement campaign with featured dApps, quests, and badges (Season 1 ran from 8 September 2025 to early January 2026; Season 2 started 8 January 2026; Seeker Summer ran 7 July to 30 August 2026 with four rounds of quests and badges). Cherry takes part in Seeker Season quests, and Mattle, a Seeker Summer round-four quest app, runs the Cherry Mini App SDK as of September 2026. Those quests, badges, and SKR allocations belong to Solana Mobile and are tracked in the Seed Vault Wallet; a Cherry campaign can only mirror them through a .skr check or a custom check on your side.

Limits and honest caveats

  • Payouts are Solana only: SOL and SPL tokens. Cherry’s token-gated chats also serve ERC-20 and NFT holders on Base, Ethereum, and BNB Smart Chain, but as of 10 September 2026 the campaign treasury and payout are Solana.
  • There is no quests UI, points, or XP inside Cherry. “Quest-style eligibility” on this page means a claim condition, nothing more. If you need a leaderboard of tasks, run it in your app and let the custom check read the result.
  • Campaigns are created in Cherry’s campaign admin, a panel your team signs in to with a wallet once Cherry grants access.
  • The claimant needs a little SOL. Without it the claim is kept but unpaid until they top up. For SPL payouts the claimant also pays for the token account if the wallet has never held that token.
  • A custom check that errors or answers slowly counts as a fail, never a pass. A slow server denies your own holders.
  • One claim per wallet means per wallet, not per person. Someone with five wallets can claim five times if each passes the rules. Wallet age, .skr (soulbound), and whitelist checks exist to narrow that.
  • Group chats on Cherry are not end-to-end encrypted, by design, so bots and moderation can work; DMs are. A campaign card in a group is visible to every member of that group.
  • This page lists no live airdrops and is not a farming guide.

How to start

  1. Create or pick the room. A token-gated or NFT-gated public group at chat.cherry.fun with a claimed handle gives the campaign an audience that already passed a holder check. A paid channel works too if the drop is for subscribers.
  2. Write the rule set on paper first: which checks, all or any, and what a failed member should be told. Keep to the fewest rules that define “holder” for you.
  3. Decide the money: SOL or which mint, amount per claim, total budget, maximum claimants, start and end, and the minimum SOL a wallet needs for auto-withdraw.
  4. Get campaign admin access from Cherry. Message the team at https://t.me/cherrydotfun or start from https://portal.cherry.fun . Register the treasury keypair and fund it with the budget.
  5. Create the campaign as a draft, attach it to a message in your room, and set it live at the start time. The pinned banner appears for members.
  6. Watch claimed count and remaining slots in the admin. Pause if something is wrong; end when it is done. Members who claimed but had no SOL can still withdraw from the room later.

FAQ

How does an airdrop claim work on Cherry?

You open the room, tap Claim, and Cherry runs the campaign’s eligibility checks. If you pass, your slot is reserved at once. Your wallet then asks you to sign a transfer from the campaign treasury; Cherry adds the treasury signature, sends it to Solana, and marks the claim paid once it confirms.

Who pays gas on a Cherry airdrop claim?

The claimant. The payout transaction names your wallet as the fee payer, and for an SPL token it also covers creating your token account if you do not have one. The team’s budget goes to rewards only.

Can I airdrop to NFT holders?

Yes. Add an NFT holder check with the collection address and, optionally, a minimum number of NFTs. Ownership is checked when the wallet claims, so a wallet that sold after your snapshot fails.

Can eligibility depend on a token balance?

Yes. The token balance check takes a mint and a minimum amount and reads the wallet’s balance at claim time. Combine it with other checks under an all-must-pass or any-may-pass policy.

Does Cherry have quests, points, or XP for token holders?

No. As of September 2026 Cherry has no quests UI, points, or XP. What it has is quest-style eligibility: a claim that requires a task the chain or your own server can verify, such as holding a token, owning a domain, or having sent messages in your room. Seeker Season quests are run by Solana Mobile, and Cherry takes part in them.

Is Cherry a multisender?

No. A multisender pushes tokens from a spreadsheet of addresses and the sender pays every fee. Cherry runs claim campaigns: a wallet has to open your room, pass the checks, and sign for its own payout.

What if my wallet has no SOL when I claim?

The claim still goes through and your slot is kept. The campaign card switches to Withdraw with the message to top up SOL, and you can sign the payout later from the same room.
