Solana Telegram group and Discord: use solana.com's links

Solana has one official Telegram, the one solana.com/telegram opens (t.me/solana), and one official Discord, the server behind solana.com/discord. Both are linked from solana.com/community, the page where Solana lists its own channels and their sizes. A Solana Telegram group with the same name that reached you any other way, through a reply, a DM or a Telegram search, has not proved anything yet. Below are the official links with their counts in October 2026, three checks that catch a copy, and the regional Solana chats hosted on Cherry (cherry.fun), a wallet-to-wallet messenger and community app for crypto where you sign in with a wallet and join token-gated and paid group chats.

Where to find the official Solana Telegram group and Discord

Start at solana.com/community. The page introduces its list as “our most frequented and updated communication channels” and routes most of them through a solana.com address. In October 2026 it showed these:

The X account is the largest by far, with 3,028,785 on solana.com’s count in October 2026. solana.com files Telegram under Announcements, with X, YouTube and Weibo. The Discord invite opens a server named Solana Tech, filed under Engineering next to Solana’s GitHub. Reddit sits under Discussions.

How to spot a fake Solana group

Solana’s own guide, Staying Safe on Solana, lists its rules as short lines. Three of them are enough to catch a copied group.

1. Follow links from solana.com only. The guide says “Use official links only” and “Bookmark real sites”. Type solana.com yourself, open the community page, and use its links. Then compare the Telegram handle character by character with t.me/solana: a copy has to differ somewhere, even if only by an underscore or an extra word.
2. Admins never DM first. The guide puts it in five words: “Real support never DMs first”. An account that opens a private chat to offer help, a recovery or a wallet “verification” is starting the scam, whatever the group it came from looks like. The guide adds: “Never trust DMs offering recovery.”
3. Nobody official asks for a seed phrase. The guide counts “Requests for seed phrases” among its red flags and says support staff “never ask for your seed phrase”. A bot, form or site that wants your recovery words is not Solana, with no exceptions.

Telegram’s verification page says a verified badge marks a chat Telegram approved as official, and adds that “Verification is not an endorsement of any opinions or content shared by a chat”. Telegram verifies only large and active official channels, groups and bots, so a missing badge proves nothing. The full walk-through, with admin lists and posting history, is in how to know if a Telegram group is official .

What counts as the best Solana Telegram groups

For Solana itself the answer is short: solana.com lists one Telegram, under Announcements. Every other group with Solana in its name, every call group and every “alpha” channel, is missing from that list. This page does not rank them, and the three checks above apply to each one.

Where the rest of the market talks, sorted by how old a coin is, is mapped in where memecoin holders chat . If you are deciding where to run a group of your own, Discord vs Telegram for crypto communities sets out the trade-offs.

What this means for you

Bookmark solana.com/community and open every Solana link from there. Use the Telegram that solana.com lists under Announcements, the Solana Tech Discord it lists under Engineering, and the Reddit it lists under Discussions. Keep your seed phrase in your wallet and nowhere else, and close any chat in which someone helpful asks for it.

For chat in your own language, solana.com offers less: one Weibo account, filed under Announcements, and nothing regional on Telegram.

Where Cherry fits

Cherry hosts 13 regional Solana rooms, grouped under Geo in the Marketplace at chat.cherry.fun/market, which you can “Browse without signing in”. They are hosted on Cherry and are not Solana Foundation channels. Every one has the same entry rule: hold a .skr domain, or pay 1 USDC to join. A wallet that holds a .skr name , the name that comes with a Solana Seeker phone, joins free. Any other wallet pays 1 USDC once, a one-time entry with no renewal.

SOLANA 中文 is the biggest of the 13, with 2,873 members and 8,986 messages in October 2026. A member count shows how many people joined, which says little about how busy a room is on a given day. Solana Nigeria’s page describes the room as “Free for Seeker owners”, and for anyone without a Seeker the 1 USDC is the whole price.

The rule is checked by the app. Cherry reads the chain when you join, so nobody DMs you a verify link, and because a .skr name cannot be sold it is checked once and never again. The same on-chain check at join runs in every token-gated chat on Cherry, where token rules are also re-checked in the background, and in the Seeker Club , the room for Seeker owners. To browse beyond Solana’s regional rooms, find crypto communities covers the rest of the Marketplace. Open chat.cherry.fun/market, pick Geo, and join the room for your language with a wallet.

FAQ

What is Solana’s official Telegram?

It is the Telegram that solana.com/telegram opens, t.me/solana, linked from solana.com/community under Announcements. The page showed 70,463 members for it in October 2026. A group with the same name that you reached from a reply, a DM or a Telegram search is unverified until its handle matches t.me/solana exactly.

Does Solana have an official Discord?

Yes. solana.com/discord opens a server named Solana Tech, which solana.com/community lists under Engineering with 141,556 members in October 2026. Use that link and no other invite.

How do I spot a fake Solana group?

Reach it only through a link on solana.com, treat any admin or support account that messages you first as a scam, and never type your seed phrase anywhere someone sends you. Solana’s own safety guide says real support never DMs first and never asks for your seed phrase.

Are there Solana chats in other languages?

solana.com/community lists one Telegram and one Weibo account, both under Announcements, and no regional chats. Cherry hosts 13 regional Solana rooms, from SOLANA 中文 with 2,873 members in October 2026 to Solana Việt with 30. They are not Solana Foundation channels. A wallet with a .skr name joins free, and any other wallet pays 1 USDC once.
